Here you will find the PROFINET GSDML files for the drive system SINAMICS G120C.The PROFINET GSDML files are required to operate the SINAMICS G120C via PROFINET and to allow the configuration tools to recognise the inverter. Examples of configuration tools are previous and current STEP7 versions or COM PROFIBUS. Within the tools the corresponding import functions are provided.
Always use the GSDML file that matches your Control Unit (CU) type or order number – even if you are currently not using all of the Control Unit functions (e.g. Safety functions). After the Control Unit firmware has been upgraded, it is then only necessary to update the GSDML files if improved or new functions of the CU are to be used.
